As always...catching up.

Before I start, I'd like to thank two very patient Grandmas...I promise to be better in 2010.

Christmas this year was fun, but not very exciting. You'll notice the lack of Christmas decor (mainly a tree) in the pictures. I did a little decorating, but not much. Reed and I made a deal that if I waited until after Christmas to get a tree then I could splurge and get some more decorations for next year. So I did. I bought a display tree at Target for 75% off (but it still seemed a little expensive) and some other fun stuff that I'm excited to use for next year.

We spent Christmas eve with several families in our ward. Quincy slept in Christmas morning until about 8:30. She was excited to see the toys, but doesn't really understand Santa yet. Marley slept through the entire celebration. Later that morning we went over to another family's house for breakfast. We are so lucky to have good friends who become our family during the holidays. We missed our families this year, but are glad we didn't have to deal with bad weather and flight delays. Hopefully we'll get to visit family soon!

Marley does a 180 This girl is proving to be quite a fun baby. We couldn't get Quincy to watch TV until she was about three. We can't get Marley to take her eyes off the TV long enough to feed her. In these pictures she practically does a 180 just so she can keep watching TV.

Quincy's latest fashions She's been putting together some really "fun" outfits lately. I can't believe she's actually wearing a tutu. For the longest time she refused. And I love the shoes with her pajamas.

Like mother like daughter So we've been trying to sell some furniture on craigslist. I have a good time "staging" furniture to try and make it appeal to more people and sell for more. I think it works...hey they do it in the catalogs, right. Anyway, Quincy got in on it too. She "staged" her bike and her stroller...so cute.

Matching Hats My mom got Quincy and Marley matching hats. They both look adorable in them. So I dressed them up and they wore them to church the other day. Before we left I tried to get some pictures of them together. Marley (as usual) was completely pleasant and wonderful about the whole process. Quincy (as usual) was not. Can you tell from the expressions on my face that I'm having a good time?

Master bath sneak peak We've been doing some updating in our house. Our master bath isn't quite done and I don't want to show everyone until it is...but in the meantime here's a sneak peak. We've got lots of projects going on so stay tuned for some more fun home updating/decorating pictures.

Close ups of Marley Sweet, sweet little girl. Reed and I say that a lot about her.

Christmas Card Attempts Every year we do Christmas cards. I think it's a great way to see how our family evolves through the years. As a result, I'm the one who plans the outfits, location, scheduling of the photo shoot, etc. Oh, did I mention I'm also the one who takes the pictures? Yes, all our Christmas card pictures are done with the self timer setting. Hence we get some crazy looking pictures!

Thanks for visiting
