| My Babysite | | | Casey had a great 2nd birthday on Saturday the 4th. My family and Todd's family were able to be there. We BBQed and had Elmo and Bluesclues cupcakes. And we sang Happy Birthday to Casey allll day long! If you ask him how old he is, he'll say, 2! He has changed so much in a year! He talks in 4-6 word sentences and understands everything you tell him. Hes really enjoying preschool at Bannockburn. Hes the only one potty trained in the class!! The teachers LOVE HIM! Conner and CJ both really love going to school. Our hallway has become their display for art they bring home:) I'm also working there Mondays and Wednesdays. I really enjoy it. Cody has 2 great teachers this year. 4th grade is definetly different and more challenging than 3rd. LOTS of homework! Hes getting used to it, though.
Todd is still working on getting his surveying license. It'll be about a year. Hes been busy with his own engineering firm. Hes always got jobs lined up. Hes helping me start my own company, DKB Services. I am now certified! That was a long process! I'm a contractor for the state as a construction photographer. Todd will read the plans for me and tell me what to take pictures of. Simple and doesn't take any time and its on my own time.
Casey had his 2 year check up and is in the 95th percentile. He had 3 shots:( Conner was a big help by comforting him. You can tell he felt bad for him. CJ had fever for 2 days and the worst tummy stuff(didn't want to be to graphic, although Conner would love to tell anyone about it!)
This weekend we went to DinoLand at Zilker Park. The boys had soooo much fun! They did some really neat activities and saw lots of dinosaures. These things looked so real! We also went to San Antonio and picked out some pumpkins from the pumpkin patch.
We FINALLY got these pumpkin pictures up! The kids really enjoy looking at all the different pumpkins then picking just a few is soooo hard with so many to choose from.
Happy Halloween! Hope everyone had a great safe time! We went around the neighborhood and got lots of goodies. After handing out candy for a while we went to a Halloween party. The kid's sugar high ran out and they were pooped. But then up at 7:30 as usuall! We had so much fuuun! We look forward to seeing everyone else's pictures, too. Love ya! |
