The much promised update is now done! This was a very special year for the Ratto family since we got to enjoy Jaden's first Christmas. Time has flown by and it's hard to believe that next Sunday our little man will be 3 months old.
The last 3 months we have survived our first set of shots, started leaving Jaden with a babysitter as mom returned to work part time in December, enjoyed watching him be able to focus on toys and reach for them, smile at us and just last week he started to be ticklish and laugh if you get him just right under his arms.
Mommy has enjoyed the return of sleeping all night as it's been almost 2 weeks of 7 - 9 hours straight for the little one. Definitely makes getting ready in the morning much easier! Daddy loves having Jaden join him at the rink to watch hockey. Jaden used to sleep through the games, but now he stays awake and wants to see what's going on. He loves the noise and action!
We are very blessed to have such a happy and healthy baby and appreciate every day that we get to spend with him. Life will get a little more crazy with the start of the new year as mom returns to work full time, but we can't wait to continue to watch him grow and accomplish so many new firsts in the upcoming months. Thank you for all the loving and supportive emails over the past few months. We'll do our best to send out pictures when we can so you can keep watching him grow.
